His path in advertising started 15 years ago as a copywriter. Soon he moved to strategic planning and after one year in McCann-Erickson Ukraine he moved to Moscow where he spent 6 years in Leo Burnett Moscow as a planner and then senior planner.
In 2008 Sergey was awarded with Leo Intel award (Chicago). He then moved to Leo Burnett Ukraine where he built planning department from the scratch as Planning Director. In 2013 Sergey with two partners launched a new strategically driven creative agency in Kazakhstan – POPKULTURA which was recognized as launch of the year and after just two years it became number 4 (creatively) in Central Asia.
In 2015 Sergey and part of his team joined GForce
